Anyone trying the Wave anytime soon?

So, I booked my ADRs for free dining this week and I am going to be trying The Wave at the Contemporary one night. Does anyone have any ADRs at the Wave coming up? I’m curious to hear some reviews before we go!

I am curious too. The menu looked interesting, not sure if any of my guys would care for it. I’d love to hear a first hand review.

I’ll probably try The Wave in October when we go for our long vacation. I don’t think we’ll be in WDW again before then. I’d also like to see the full final menu and All Ears doesn’t have anything up yet.
Plus, by then all the little kinks will be ironed out.

Does anyone know where I can find the menu?? I’d be very interested in trying it but I wouldn’t be going until November.

What kind of cuisine are we talking about?

Curried yak.
Lark’s Tongue in Aspic.
Sweet and Sour Vegetables
Three pigeon soup
and for dessert: Chocolate Wave.

Allearsnet had a summary of the menu, not the actual menu. I will find the link for you.

Here you go: WDW Restaurant and Dining News

I made an ADR for our Nov trip. Sounds like it will be “something different”. I’m anxious to see the menu. I think I read it opens the end of June, so we should hear more about it soon.

I saw the Beef Tenderloin on the sample menu and it sounded good to me!

The menu sounds really good, would be also interested to hear anyone’s comments on this place.

The Wave is supposed to be opening today (06/07/08) and Concourse was to have closed last night.

As exciting as new things to do at WDW are, I don’t think I’ll be going there any time soon…the menu does nothing for me…to weird…lol

LOL = three pigeon soup…you are SO silly doug…lol

I’m with you on that . . . Drink menu looks good “Tropi-glow” Cocktail yum! But the food is a little nouveau cuisine for me!

Plus no kids menu, so I guess this is more geared to adults/couples?

Can’t wait to read an actual review!

HEY! According to SSN there’s no yak on the menu! What are you trying to pull? Now I’m horribly disappointed! :glare:

The pork tenderloin, linguini with clams and shrimp, beef tenderloin, and sustainable fish (note these are probably farmed salmon, catfish, or tilapia) all sound interesting and safe.
The desserts look good. The appetizers look a little anemic and they could use another entree or two while they’re at it. The prices are one credit, but the wine pairings smell like two credits.

I saw an early test menu.
