Dining Reservations

#1

It’s been 4 years…how far out can I make dining reservations? (Are they still called ADRs?"

#2

Yes they are still ADRs… you can make them 180 days out, and you can do it online… way easier. But now, as you make them, they will ask for a CC number and charge you $10 per person if you do not show up for your reservation…

It’s 180 days out and you can book up to 10 days worth of ADRs if you are booked at a Disney resort.

Thanks for the help.

#5

Have fun planning… there are new restaurants in Mexico and in Italy in Epcot…

#6

Wow, I didn’t know about the charge for not showing up. (not that I would ever do that) Good to know! Thanks!

#7

I thought that only signature restaurants required a credit card and charged for no shows. Am I wrong?

#8

Signature and all character meals require the CC information now.

#9

Yeah I remember reading about that…something about Spoodles and Cavey.

#10

I think a few of the popular ones too, like Ohana at dinner.

#11

Yep, I had to give a credit card number to book 'Ohana a few weeks ago.

Really?

I just ordered the 2012 Unofficial Guide. I’m really looking forward to seeing what’s changed.

There have been a lot of changes. As much as I resist change it’s fun to see new things develop.
