Dinsey Dining Experience and Mugs?

Does anyone know if the DDE discount also applies to buying the mugs? With my trip in a few weeks and 4 of us going, I know it will be cost effective to just buy the mugs when we get there to have for our meals at the hotel and I want to maximize as much as possible with the discount and buying the mugs.

Thanks in advance!

I don’t think so. Do you already have a DDE card? you shopould’ve gotten alist with it, but in case you don’t have it …

Thanks Tigger,

I just ordered it last week so I have not received the card yet. I did have the list of all the participating restaurants and since we are staying at ASMu, I wanted to get the mugs from Intermission Food Court. Since the info on the card says you get the discount on food and beverages, I just wondered if it applied to purchasing the mugs from there as well.

In Dec, the card didn’t count toward the cost of the mugs at POP.

where i get a mug in Fort Wildnerness resort and campground.:mickey:

If you are doing the dining experience, you really don’t need to invest in a mug. Large drinks come with every meal, and also you can purchase drinks using your snacks. As a habit, the first thing the kids do is take their key room card, and go to the Mara to purchase their mugs. But, this last time, we had free dining, and the kids just didn’t use the mugs.

Beth, you’re thinking meal plan. Disney Dining Experience is a membership/discount card that gives members 20% discounts on most sit down meals in Disney owned and operated restaurants. As for DDE and mugs, no.
Jeany, you buy the mugs for your resort in their snack bar, but you can’t use mugs from one resort at another, or in the parks.
