WOW, I hope there is no injury or major damage

#3

Wow! I hope it was an accident and tha no one was hurt!

#4

Wow! I hope everyone was ok- wonder if there will be a major refurb as a result!

#5

Since everyone seems to be okay, I can say this:

GOOD. The “Under New Management” needs to be destroyed and the original brought back!

#6

One hot show!

   :pinch:

Ummm, I want to agree with Andrea, please. I don’t like the “new” version.

#8

Sorry, someone had to use the joke at some point. I figured I would get it out of the way.

I agree the old show was better. I would love to see them bring it back.

#9

I prefer the older one, as well. The jokes in the new one that reference the older show are cute, but most people don’t seem to get them (“We’ve been singing the same song since 1955”).

#10

This is what one gets when they mess with the Tiki Goddess.

#11

And where you YOU, yesterday, Boss?

#12

Trying on new tu-tus. I’m planning a trip for October!

#13

Walked by it last night. Electrical smoke smells terrible.

#14

Bummer. Guess I will cross that one off my list of places to go next week…

#15

Maybe it’s an excuse for a refurb??

#16

We did this for the first time on our trip in November. My oldest DD (5) wanted to see it. I thought it was okay, but I never saw the old show. What was the differences?

#17

NjM,
The old story did not have the commentary, singing and stuff from Iago.

I knew someone would have this comment.
Me? I’m a Gilbert Gottfried fan, so “Under New Management” is fine by me. If I really need to see the original, I can contain myself until the next time I travel to Southern California.

Hopefully stitches escape will catch fire next. HATE that attraction

From the story, it looks like this might not have been anywhere near as bad as it might have been. The fire started in the attic and sprinklers kept it small and controllable. Of course, we don’t know how much water got into electronics and animatronics.
