Here's a Groupon for Parasailing at the Contemporary

Sammy Duvall’s Watersports Centre Deal of the Day | Groupon Orlando

Americans have always been trailblazers, from laying the track on the first intercontinental railroad to hacking through the petrified forest of national flags on the moon. Conquer the final frontier, the ocean, with this Groupon.

Choose Between Two Options

$57 for a single-passenger parasailing flight (a $95 value)
$102 for a tandem-passenger parasailing flight (a $170 value)
During 8- to 10-minute flights, single and tandem riders catch birds’ eye views and snap photos of Bay Lake, Seven Seas Lagoon, and the area’s nearby attractions. Riders take off and land from a platform, allowing them to avoid getting wet or picking up a hitchhiking fish. Sammy Duvall’s Watersports Centre is located at Disney’s Contemporary Resort marina.

Sammy Duvall’s Watersports Centre

Six-time world champion. Number one in the world. Dishwasher safe. All of these phrases have been used to describe prolific water-skier Sammy Duvall. At his self-titled watersports center, Mr. Duvall helps visitors discover the aquatic activities that have defined his life. Piloting speedboats, his staff pulls tubers, wakeboarders, and water-skiers across Bay Lake. A parasail, emblazoned with a smiley-face design, elevates tandem riders over views of Florida’s natural terrain and nearby theme parks. The water sport experts also lead jet-ski tours through Bay Lake and the Seven Seas Lagoon.

$57 for 8-10 minutes!?!?! And it’s $95 without the coupon?

That’s $570/hour without the coupon.

See, Disney World tickets are actually cheap.

I’ve always considered WDW a good value for the price. It costs me $15 for a 2-hour movie, but only $100 (rounding off) for a full day of shows, rides, and unexpected events.

I agree…you can’t look at the total price as a dollar figure…when you break it down to a daily average and look at all you get for the money…it’s not a bad deal…
