More Easter Excitement at WDW

Magic Kingdom theme park
Mr. and Mrs. Easter Bunny will be greeting Guests in Tour Guide Gardens (next to City Hall) from 9 a.m.-6 p.m. April 1-7.

For Guests observing Good Friday, Columbia Harbour House, Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe, Main Street Bakery, Pinocchio Village Haus and Tomorrowland Terrace offer meatless entrees. Passover meals will be available at Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe beginning at sundown on April 6.

Disney’s Animal Kingdom theme park
To better accommodate our Guests during the holiday season, Disney’s FASTPASS service has been added for specific shows and showtimes April 1-14 for “Finding Nemo – The Musical” and “Festival of the Lion King.” These FASTPASS tickets can be picked up at the Tip Board in Discovery Island.
April 1-14, Guests at Disney’s Animal Kingdom theme park can enjoy the daily beats of the Yak & Yeti DJ in Asia and Burudika in Africa. These musical entertainers will appear at the following times:
Burudika: 3:10 p.m., 4:35 p.m., 5:30 p.m., 6:30 p.m.
Yak & Yeti DJ Dance Party: 3 – 7 p.m. (4 – 8 p.m. on April 3-5)

Disney’s Contemporary Resort
To celebrate the Easter holiday, Guests staying at Disney’s Contemporary Resort can enjoy these activities on Sunday, April 8:

Guests staying at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort will be able to participate in a candy scramble and character meet and greets on Sunday, April 8.

Religious Services
Religious services are available to all Guests staying at Walt Disney World Resort and take place Easter Sunday, April 8, at Disney’s Contemporary Resort inside Fantasia Ballroom during the following times:
Catholic Mass: 8 a.m. and 10:15 a.m.
Protestant service: 9 a.m.

We encourage Guests around the monorail system to take the monorail or watercraft system to Disney’s Contemporary Resort. All other Guests can utilize Walt Disney World Resort transportation to Magic Kingdom theme park and then transfer to a shuttle bus to the Contemporary. The shuttle bus will be located at the bus loading area near the main entrance to Magic Kingdom.

Wow, thanks! This almost makes me wish we were going now. I didn’t realize all these candy scrambles and such took place!

Candy scramble = sugar high = more time in the parks to wear the little ones out = more $$$$ in the register. Simple Disney economics.

If I was incharge I’d be handing out candy to the little ones in every park all day long. Not the way we raised our kids, but anything to help the bottom line when you aer running a business helps.:laugh:
