Passholders can stay at baylake tower!

#1

i just booked a room at bay lake tower for jan 9th- 10th 253.49 including tax!!!
it’s bay lake view but i am so freaking happy to be just able to step foot in there!!! i am PRETTY sure it’s a way to get passholders to join DVC.
i really hope this doesn’t upset DVC members but i think it will :frowning: i am THRILLED to be able to at least say i stayed there once. the deal is for jan-feb only.:wub::wub::wub::wub::wub::wub::wub:

Hey, you might luck out with lake view that happens to have a theme park view. You could put in a room request for room 8206 (or rooms above or below… not too low, though, or the trees will obstruct your view), and you can see MK if you look out to the left.

I don’t think the DVC members will mind. I mean, we booked our stay through Travelocity. Of course, only DVC members get access to the Top of the World lounge. Will you get access as a passholder? That would be cool.

I believe anyone can stay at Baylake just like any other vacation club resort. The rest of us just don’t get the deal they do. So, I don’t think they would get upset passholders get price breaks on rooms all the time!

i was under the impression that the only way you could stay there if you werent a dvc member was to rent dvc points or get them from an agent who sells dvc points. i never knew anyone could actually stay at the DVC resorts.
i am just so thrilled that my dh got this for me (it’s my christmas present) we can’t really afford it but i will savor every second i am there!!! we just won’t eat for a couple weeks lol until he gets his next check.:wub:
i am not holding out any kind of hope of being able to get into the lounge. is there anywhere else you can see the mk from there without having the mk view room???

Good for you! Enjoy your stay! You have to be a DVC member staying on points to get to the TotW- you must show your card and get escorted to the elevator.

There are limited number of units available from Disney at DVC resorts. These are unsold units and time that members have exchanged to other things like DCL cruises or Adventures by Disney trips.

That’s a really great rate. BLT normal price is “from” $425 per night.

Some of the Bay Lake view rooms and also some of the standard view rooms on the MK side have pretty good views.

Besides, people staying at DVC resorts is a great sales tool. I’ve had lots of people that I rented to take the tour and/or join DVC.
