Rehearsal dinner list

#1

I did a little research online and came up with this list to give the couple to look over:

Spirit of Aloha Luau
Shula’s Steakhouse at the Dolphin Resort
Palio Italian Bistro at the Swan Resort
Gulliver’s Grill at the Swan Resort
Cap’n Jack’s Restaurant at Downtown Disney
Fulton’s Crab House at Downtown Disney

I did not add Concourse Steakhouse because I wasnt sure if it was a nice restaurant or not. I would love any input on the list. Feel free to add any places I may have missed that arent extremely pricey.

Thanks!

I would add Portabello’s in DTD to the list. Great food, service and atmosphere and not terribly expensive.
Cap’n Jack’s is not one of our favorites, it’s just OK.
Fulton’s is nice but can be a little pricey.

'Ohana’s out now?

Their Disney wedding planner should also have some suggestions.

#4

Yeah, I thought 'Ohana sounded great!

#5

Isnt Ohana’s the same as the Luau?

#6

The Luau is a dinner show. 'Ohana is a restaurant.

I will have to mention it to the couple the next time I see them. I am sure the wedding planner will tell them as well. I dont want to push too much on them. They asked for my help but I really dont know them well at all. Every so often I pass on info to the groom’s sister and she relays it to them. I dont want to butt in where I dont belong.

It is so much fun though planning a wedding when it is someone else’s money…lol

I totally understand where you’re coming from because it is fun, but at the same time you don’t want to come off as if you are being pushy or butting in. You sound like a good, helpful friend, though!!
