Frequently Asked Questions:

Q. I pre-purchased a PhotoCD online before my vacation, can I upgrade to PhotoPass+?

R. Yes, if you pre-purchased a PhotoCD online before your trip you may upgrade your PhotoCD to PhotoPass+ at PhotoPass view stations throughout the Walt Disney World Parks, Downtown Disney, and select Resorts. You will need the name, phone number, and email address that was used to purchase the PhotoCD.

Q. Can I pre-order PhotoPass+?

R. At this time PhotoPass+ will only be available for purchase at the PhotoPass View Stations located throughout Walt Disney World and is not available online or for pre-purchase.

Q. I have a large family—how many PhotoPass+ cards will I receive?

R. Only one PhotoPass+ card will be provided with each purchase. However, multiple PhotoPass cards can be accumulated during your visit, and all of those photos can be added to your account. In order to receive your Attraction and Dining photos, the PhotoPass+ card holder must be present at the time of photo capture.

Q. PhotoPass+ is not the right product for me at this time. Will the PhotoCD still be available for purchase?

R. Yes – if you decide that PhotoPass+ is not the right product for you at this time, you can still purchase the PhotoCD.

Q.Can I add attraction and dining photos that were taken before I purchased PhotoPass+?

R. Unfortunately we cannot add photos previously taken to the PhotoPass+ product. Only photos taken within the 14 day window, which begins on the date of purchase, will be included in your PhotoPass+ package and available for you to add to your PhotoCD.

Wow $200.00 That seems like an awful lot of money. For those who have used it do you think it’s worth it?

#3

All I have to say is they are charging $ 199 for this. I don’t know if this is something I would pay for. I hate pictures of myself. I am just not photogenic. I think I would not do it.

I’ve said it before. My $60 digital camera will give me nearly 2,000 pics on one card. If I can’t make magical memories with that, then what is $200 going to give you???

#5

I agree. My camera cost me £250 (around $400) and I can fit a few thousand photos on my SD cards so I would certainly not have the money for the PP package!!
Last time we visited the Photo pass CM told us we could get the photos for free online and she gave us a little card, don’t know if they still do that??

My question would be since CRT and Akershus both price the meal based on the fact that you get a character photo, if someone purchased this PP+ package would they then discount the meals?
Nah, doubt it. But it does seem one would be paying twice for the same thing if they did both of these.

Exactly…

It’s just too much money as far as I’m concerned. Our WDW tickets were expensive enough and I think we have everything we need included in them. I’m just gonna take my camera and ask the CM’s to take our pictures (when I’ve asked in the past they seem fine with that so I hope you can still do that?)
