WDW vs. DL

We are thinking about a trip out west to visit my brother then drive over to Cali. for a few days. How does DL compare to WDW as far as resorts, $$, attractions, Etc.

It doesn’t compare at all.

(Ha! That ought to stoke a fire or two.)

Well… DL has less on-property resorts. There are no moderates and values - only three resorts, and they book quickly during peak season. They are far from inexpensive, as well. They do have “Good Neighbor” hotels that are close to (many within walking distance) the DL main gate and even have DL views. They are much less expensive, but they are not Disney.

DL’s park tickets cost less, as there are only two parks.\

Transportation is much easier here. You can easily walk back and forth between the two parks, DtD, and resorts.

As for the parks themselves… entirely different! They have some of the same attractions, but the MK and DL are far from identical. Each have their own special qualities.
