What are your Top 5 restaurants?

#1

I’m booking Deluxe Dining for the Spring. Last fall, we went to a lot of the dinner shows and, as Soundgod might say, didn’t use the dining plan to it’s full advantage, but hey, it was free! This trip, I would like to try the best of the best restaurant-wise, but I am left wondering…which restaurants are the best of the best? It doesn’t matter if they use 2 meals on the dining plan (that is why I am booking Deluxe), but please keep it to restaurants that accept the dining plan.

Table Service Restaurants from WDW '08 trip:

Beaches & Cream Soda Shoppe (We paid OOP for this one.)
Cinderella’s Royal Table
Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue
Les Chefs De France
Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater
Spirit of Aloha Polynesian Luau

#3

Flying Fish
Wolfgang Puck’s Cafe’
Yachtsman Steakhouse
Grand Floridian Cafe for breakfast. Ohmygawd, they have lobster eggs Benedict
Raglan Road

#4

Ohana’s - Dinner
Le Cellier

  1. Kona Cafe - absolutely a must do for me!
  2. 'Ohana
  3. Whispering Canyon Cafe

I honestly can’t come up with more than that right off…I haven’t eaten at a lot of WDW restaurants, but out if the ones I’ve tried, those 3 are the only ones I would give top marks!

I don’t have kids, but I love the character meals too. I have heard great things about Ohana, so that is going to have to be on my list.

I think Wolfgang Puck’s will make the cut. We ate at the Express last fall and it was awesome. I was so surprised that it was counter service.

Our faves are a little different:

Narcoosees, GF, fab food, service, view of Wishes and Light Parade
Boma, 1st time last trip, wonderful!
Kona - but not crazy about kids menu…
Marrakesh - Epcot - food can be good or great - look on the kids’ faces with bellydancer, priceless!

We have been to CRT for dinner every year, but are skipping it this year, maybe another meal would be better than dinner…the food became pretty ehh, but there is nothing like eating in the castle. My kids would take every meal there, if they could. The atmosphere is worth doing several times…we are replacing with 1900 Park Fare this year, but I would recommend if you have never done. (I wouldn’t trade my photos of my cuties with Cinderella for anything@!)

Not in any particular order…

  • Olivia’s
  • O’hana Breakfast
  • Kona Cafe
  • Whispering Canyon
  • Biergarten

I know I say it all the time, but WPE is my favorite WDW restaurant. The rosemary chicken and garlic mashed potatoes are so yummy! Throw in a bit of my kids macaroni and cheese, and I’m in heaven.

#15

We don’t use the DDP, and these restaurants are not done every trip (obviously), but the signature restaurants are great. No special order:

Narcoossees (GF), Artist Point (WL), California Grill (CR). Also love Ohanas’ (Poly), and the one must do for us is LeCellier at EPCOT. If you like sea food, Flying Fish (BW) and our favorite id Fulton’s Crab House (DtD).

Our first trip was last year, but out of the restaurants we went to these were our favorites:

Boma
Le Cellier
Chef Mickey’s breakfast
