What would you suggest for the lovebirds?

My DH and I are going with another couple to celebrate both wedding anniversaries. Ours is on May 19th - Theirs on May 20th. The other couple is very new to WDW. (Only went once…and only to MK)

Night one (May 19th), we have ADR for LeCellier’s and plans to toast our 21yrs of bliss at Raglan Rd at night.

Day two is our first full day. We plan to head to EpCot and have ADR for Teppan Edo that night.

What could my DH and I do as a surprise for their special day. I mean, we will be in WDW, so that’s pretty amazing on its own. I’m thinking something that’s small yet meaningful…

Ideas?

You can call WDW Florists and order have flowers or gifts sent to their room. Or Disney dining can arrange for a surprise cake.

What about a couples massage? That may be expensive!?!

:smile:Papa Bear has some great suggestions…just wanted to add that our anniversary is MAY 18th:smile:

Congrats on your anniversary!

Many Happy returns for the 19th & 20th.

Each to their own but I wold sack Raglan Rd and conceder a night out at HoB or Jellyrolls.

Romantic dinners for anniversary I would choose artist point, Narcossis, or cal grill.

I mean I love Le Cellier Steakhouse but there is nothing to see in side but walls and people. Narcossis we love looking out over seven seas lagoon watching the fireworks its so nice:wub::wub:

now if you have some cash to burn how about a Specialty Cruises on the seven sea’s. we are looking into this for next year.

hope you have a fantastic time what ever you decide to do.

How about a segway tour, sure it’s with a group of people, but definitely not something you can do when the kiddies are with you. DH and I did this 7 years Ago for our 10yr anniversary and had a fantastic time!

Yep, just BEING there is wonderful, but I vote for a carriage ride. They are FUN and romantic…and not too expensive either!

How about a dual vow renewal.

[QUOTE=HappyCamper;1075483]I’m thinking something that’s small yet meaningful…

All the suggestions are good, but may be too expensive? If I’m reading it right, you want to do something “small yet meaningful” for the other couple? Maybe a nice bottle of wine. Disney has so many selections that you normally don’t see. At AKL there are wines from Africa. Then at Epcot, isn’t it in Germany and France (its late and I’m tired, so may have the countries off) that have taste testing and sell bottles. That may be a nice keepsake for them to toast to anniversary memories on their next wedding anniversary.

I would call the bakery and have a nice cake sent to your restaurant. That never fails to make a moment even more special. Get a small cake so it can be had for dessert and you aren’t stuck dragging it around. You could also have a nice basket sent to their room. I did this last trip for my DD (tons of options for adults as well as children) and this really made her feel special.

I love papa bears suggestion.

this year is our 30th I am having a bottle if wine and wine glasses sent to the room … well really the hotel as we have to sign for it. i thought it would be a nice touch to surprise dh… we always eat at narcooses for our anniversary… this year Im going to order a cake… i did that one year for our anniversary and once for dh b day … he was thrilled. the cake was pricy i think about $70.00 .

My wife and I have celebrated our last 5 anniversaries at Disney. Every year, not only does Disney make our day special with a nice photo from Mickey or Minney that is “signed” but I also call the Disney Florist and do something special. Whether it is flowers, or ears with my wife’s name, I always do something.

Call the Florist. Get them something special and a bottle of champagne delivered to their room. That would be special, and pretty affordable.
