We haven’t been to Disney since 2006, can anyone tell me if they have added any new rides (I remember the yetti ride also have photos somewhere of the ride before it was complete) any others?

And have they added any new fireworks shows they are my husbands favorite thing to do in Disney:wub:

Toy Story Mania at HS is new and not to be missed.

I think:

:mickey: the Nemo stage show in the AK
:mickey: the Kim Possible World Showcase adventure is brand new
:mickey: the remake of El Rio del Tiempo (Gran Fiesta Tour)
:mickey: the Spaceship Earth redo in Epcot
:mickey: the Living Seas Nemo remake might be new since 2006
:mickey: the PotC additions, I think, are new since 2006
:mickey: Laugh Floor Comedy Club in MK
:mickey: the Pleasure Island clubs are gone

That’s off the top of my head… So YMMV!

For fireworks, I could be wrong but I think Wishes, Illuminations, and Fantasmic are unchanged since 2006. I know Illuminations had some upgrades done at some point, but my memory is fuzzy.

I don’t mean to sound stupid but what is HS, DH, DW etc.?

I am not to good with these abreviations.

What are the PotC additions?

I think my granddaughter will like the Kim Possible World Showcase Adventure

#6

Yes, we have seen all three fireworks shows.

My husband loves them, they make me cry:crying: he just laughs at me .

Usually DH and DW mean Dear Husband and Dear Wife (Son, Daughter, friend…)

HS is Hollywood Studios.

The Haunted Mansion was also re-done.

#11

yup, they are gone.

#12

What have they put in their places?

Lego land is still there right?

#13

They incorporated elements of the PotC movies into the ride… so you’ll see animatronic Jack Sparrows and other characters from the movies.

IIRC, it’s all going to be dining and shopping.

Lego land is still there right?

According to allears.net, yep, it’s still there.

The Lego store isn’t at Pleasure Island. It is just as busy as it ever was.
The clubs closed in late September of last year!
The dance clubs and comedy clubs are gone. They are planning on making it “more family friendly” there. We’ll see what happens.

#17

We love Pirates!!!

I had no idea they changed the name of the MGM Studios to Hollywood Studios.

#18

Lego store in Dowtown Disney? Correct?

#19

Yes, the one you asked about  there is only one Lego anything at WDW :closedeye
